Due to the increased demand for our support from organisations and activists protecting and promoting human rights and social and environmental justice, Open Briefing needs to expand its team of digital and information security consultants and trainers.
You will be providing bespoke advice and training to human rights defenders and other civic actors at-risk under our funded support programme and supporting our information security lead in our consultancy work with NGO clients.
You must have excellent written and spoken English and either Spanish, Portuguese, French, or Arabic. You must have a deep understanding of information-first and risk-based approaches to information security or a strong digital security background and an openness to new approaches. You must have experience in the non-profit sector, ideally with low-resource organisations or activists.
In return, you will receive £400/day and a package of psychosocial support and health and wellbeing resources as part of our wellbeing policy. The hours will vary from month to month, depending on demand.
To apply, please email your CV and a cover letter setting out how you meet the requirements to our information security lead, Richie Tynan, at [email protected].
Open Briefing values diversity. Please read our equality and diversity policy for more information. Our ethical and environmental policies are also available.
