It is with great sadness that we must share the news that our colleague Andy Marshall died in his sleep on the night of 19 February.

All at Open Briefing are truly saddened by the tragic loss. Andy had worked as a security risk management consultant for Open Briefing for the last two years. During that time, he helped to keep our clients in Afghanistan, Central African Republic, Jordan, Yemen, Mali and Ukraine safe from harm or injury.  We were looking forward to starting exciting new projects with him shortly.

All who worked with Andy at Open Briefing, Cordaid and elsewhere will miss his no-nonsense approach, professionalism and dry sense of humour.

We hold his wife and children in our thoughts at this terrible time.
