Rémi Alvernhe is a safety and security consultant with over ten years of field and headquarters experience in international humanitarian organisations. He has worked extensively across Africa, the Middle East, and fragile political contexts, holding senior management, access, and security advisory roles.

Rémi specialises in safety and security risk management, humanitarian access, crisis management, and capacity building for international and national NGOs. His work focuses on translating complex risk environments into practical, individual and context-sensitive strategies that support principled but pragmatic field security. He brings a strong operational background combined with a strategic and analytical approach.

Rémi has led and supported teams in high-risk settings, including active conflict zones. He holds a master’s degree in International Aid Project Management, a master’s degree in Law and Political Science and a master’s degree in Business Management.
