Open Briefing now an intermediary for the Access Now digital security helpline
Open Briefing can now refer organisations and activists we are supporting to the Access Now digital security helpline. This 24/7 support service is available in nine languages and is free-of-charge for civil society around the world. If you are at risk, they can help you improve your digital security practices; if you are already under attack, they provide rapid-response emergency assistance.
Open Briefing joins the Vuka! coalition for civic action
Over 150 organisations have come together to combat the global crackdown on civic space. Coalition members include big players, such as Greenpeace International, Save the Children and Oxfam International; our colleagues in the protection ecosystem; and civil society organisations across Asia, Africa and Latin America. Together, we aim to secure crucial short- and long-term victories to increase civil society’s resilience to attacks and reclaim civic space.

This global alliance of over 8,000 civil society organisations and activists in 175 countries is dedicated to strengthening citizen action and civil society throughout the world. Open Briefing and CIVICUS share a belief that when we join forces in our diversity, we build meaningful momentum to tackle the challenges humanity faces. As a voting member, we will input into the alliance's strategic priorities and play a leadership role in key activities.
